CORPORATE PROFILE

Lion Posim Berhad (“LPB”) was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 2016 on 8 March 1982 as a private limited liability company under the name of Posim Trading Co Sdn Bhd. It changed its name to Posim Sdn Bhd on 9 March 1991, and was converted to a public liability company under the name of Posim Berhad on 29 March 1991, and was listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) on 2 April 1992. It subsequently changed its name to Lion Forest Industries Berhad on 20 May 2003, and was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 3 August 2009 when the Second Board was merged with the Main Board. LPB assumed its present name on 2 December 2019.

LPB is principally involved in investment holding, trading and distribution of building materials including its in-house brands of finishing products namely Simwares (sanitary wares), Simtec (tap fittings), Simcera (tiles) and SimLoc (ironmongery), as well as steel products; and petroleum-based products including automotive and industrial lubricants under the HI-REV and T-Trax brands, and automotive components by its subsidiaries, Posim Marketing Sdn Bhd and Posim Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd.
