Parkson Sungei Wang Plaza The New Heart of Shopping Customers, young and old waited excitedly outside Parkson Sungei Wang Plaza as early as 9 am on 15 May 2009 for the official re-opening of the store which had been closed for 6 weeks to undergo a major renovation. Parkson Sungei Wang is a landmark store, being one of the earliest stores to be opened in the 80’s and is still going strong today. The "new" bright and cheery Parkson Sungei Wang Plaza occupies a total of 118,000 sq ft of retail space over 3 floors and carries more than 400 brands of merchandise with nearly 65 brands that are new and exclusive to Parkson. To celebrate the re-opening of the store, shoppers were entertained by a lion dance and treated to a galore of promotions with 10X BonusLink Points, BonusLink Lucky Spin, Free shopping vouchers, bi-weekly Purchase-with-Purchases items, and a special Gift-with-Purchase. 100 early bird shoppers who spent more than RM100 were rewarded with RM100 Parkson vouchers and surprise goodies. Parkson is also set to launch two more new stores - in Kota Bahru Trade Centre, Kelantan in July, and 1 Borneo, Sabah in August, this year.
