Parkson had expanded its wings into Jiangxi Province and opened its first store there, Parkson Nanchang in April 2007. Located at No 177, Zhoangshan Road in Nanchang, the store has a built-up area of 37,500 square metres over five levels including a basement.

The store which caters to middle to upper level consumers, offers a wide variety of goods and latest fashion including popular brand names in apparel and cosmetics.

Nanchang means 'prosperous southern part of China'. It enjoys mild and pleasant weather for almost all the year round. Nanchang is a beautiful city with the Gan River, the mother river for the local people, traversing through the whole city with lakes and rivers bringing a special kind of charm to the city. Nanchang is touted as 'a green pearl in the southern part of China' for its clear water, fresh air and great inner city evanescence.

Its long and splendid history has endowed Nanchang with many cultural relics, among which the Tengwang Pavilion is the most famous and the pride of all the locals. Many scholars and artistic literary figures have left behind their works here which have tremendously contribute to Nanchang’s classical and artistic charm.
