In conjunction with Melaka being accorded the status of world heritage site by UNESCO, Mahkota Hotel celebrated the 51st Merdeka Day with the theme, “Merdeka in Historical Melaka”.
The hotel had displayed miniature buildings of Melaka’s popular historical sites such as the Stadhuys, Melaka’s A’Famosa fort, Malacca’s Sultanate’s Palace and the Proclamation of Independence Memorial at the hotel lobby.
Its in-house artists, Mohd Nazri and Hail Jefri had painstakingly planned and worked 12 hours daily for one month to craft and complete the display. |
