Lion-Parkson Foundation recently awarded financial assistance totalling RM224,000 to 8 students pursuing their education in local universities based on their academic performance, extra-curricular activities and leadership qualities.
Of the 8 students, two received scholarships while another six received interest-free educational loans, each valued at RM7,000 per year. This is the 20th year running that the Foundation is presenting awards to deserving students

The Lion-ASM Foundation was launched in 1990 to administer and disburse funds for various needs such as education, charity and scientific research. Todate, the Foundation has sponsored a total of about 360 students through various sponsorship programmes worth RM7.52 million. In addition, the Foundation has also contributed another RM8.13 million towards other causes, making a total contribution of RM15.65 million todate. |
