The Lion Group Medical Assistance Fund (LGMAF) sponsored RM5,000 for the Medical Camp organised by the Rotary Club of Bukit Kiara Sunrise and Shah Alam at Kampung Paya Jeras, Sungai Buloh to purchase medicine such as antibiotics, creams, cough mixtures and vitamins. The camp held on 9/12/2007 provided free medical treatment to the less fortunate in the vicinity. About 790 patients underwent various tests that included vision testing, blood pressure checks, diabetes checks, dental examination, medical examination, breast screening and ultrasound examination. Other events held were a blood donation campaign, health exhibitions and organ donation. Mrs Lily Chong, LGMAF Trustee represented the Fund at the function. |
