On 16 January 2010, the Chairman of Selangor Tourism, Consumer Affairs and Environment Committee, YB Elizabeth Wong visited Parkson Subang Parade to promote the 'No Plastic Bag Day' campaign. YB Elizabeth Wong distributed reusable bags to the shoppers. Every Saturday, all shoppers at Parkson stores in Selangor are encouraged to bring their own bags in line with the Selangor State environmental initiative whereby every Saturday, effective 9 Jan 2010 is designated as "No Plastic Bag Day".
