In a separate programme on 4 June 2009, Parkson Beijing hosted a visit by the Prime Minister’s wife, YABhg Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor who officiated the launch of Parkson’s newly renovated Shoes and Leather Department in conjunction with the 15th Anniversary of Parkson China. YABhg Datin Seri Rosmah accompanied by the Prime Minister’s mother, YABhg Tun Rahah Mohd Noah and some of the Ministers’ wives were received by Puan Sri Chelsia Cheng, the wife of our Group Chairman & CEO.
In her speech, YABhg Datin Seri Rosmah congratulated Tan Sri William on his foresight in bringing Parkson to China and developing it into an extensive network of more than 40 stores in 27 major cities. | After the launch, Puan Sri Chelsia together with Parkson China’s CEO, Mr Chew Fook Seng and COO of Parkson Northern Region, Mr Low Kim Tuan led the distinguished visitors on a tour of the store.
