A group of officials from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) visited Wisma Lion on 6 May 2008 for better understanding of our steel operations. They were briefed by General Manager - Production, Mr Khor Toong Yee and Senior Manager - Special Project, Mr Susanta Ghosh and taken on a plant tour of Megasteel and Amsteel II.
The Kuala Langat District Officer, Tuan Haji Asmawi visited our jetty at Sungai Langat to see the development of our river project. | Megasteel Sdn Bhd recently organised a dialogue session with the residents and villagers in Olak Lempit to brief them on the company’s development and expansion plans.
Senior Manager Q&A, Haji Sabrudin Suren who chaired the meeting, assured the residents that Megasteel is constantly monitoring the environment as well as getting feedback from DOE to ensure the well-being of everyone.
