Our Property Division and E&O Property Development Berhad will jointly develop three blocks of 28-storey each in Jalan Tengah / Jalan P. Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur. The project has a total net area of about 940,000 sq ft with approximately 660 units of service apartments and is targeted for launching in mid-2008. There will also be a retail and F&B component spanning 35,000 sq ft. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on 28 November 2007. The Bishop of West Malaysia, Right Reverend Ng Moon Hing representing The Synod of the Diocese of West Malaysia, was in attendance to bless and officiate the ceremony witnessed by Property Division Executive Director, Mr Lionel Cheng and E&O Property’s Managing Director, Dato’ Terry Tham Ka Hon. Also present were members of the Synod and staff of both companies. The redevelopment of the 4.13 acre former St Mary’s school land is undertaken through a Joint Venture company Mergexcel Property Development Sdn Bhd, between Ribuan Imbangan Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of E&O Property) and Lion Courts Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lion Industries Corporation Berhad).
